Good example of this oil
This is a quality oil. It smells like it's supposed to, and the Piping Rock description of " Spicy, yet eucalyptus-like with a touch of sweet orange and floral top notes" is on target. If you don't like somewhat strong medicinal smells, you may not like this. Not all essential oils smell pretty like rose or jasmine. This oil is great for when you feel a cold coming on or are congested. I've used it when needed for over a year now, and it's been great.This is a quality oil. Do not confuse this with Ravintsara
Ravensara is distilled from the leaves of the tree named Ravensara aromatica Sonnerat. Ravintsara is distilled from the leaves of Cinnamomum camphora. This is a very different species than the camphor trees grown in Asia. Rather than being high in camphor, it is high in 1,8-cineole eucalyptol, the plant chemical that give the various eucalyptus oils their penetrating aroma. Ravintsara essential oils contain at least 45% 1,8-cineole, rather than the approximately 5% found in true Ravensara aromatica oil.
