The “Good” Fats
MCT, or medium-chain triglycerides, are special types of saturated fats that are derived from coconut and palm oils. Unlike long-chain triglycerides, MCTs are used by the body quickly and easily.
Because LCTs are larger and more difficult to use, they are naturally stored in the body. MCTs are more easily absorbed and used by the body thanks to their smaller size. This makes MCTs a great, natural energy source, and Piping Rock’s MCT Oil can be a fantastic aid in your weight management routines and fitness regimens!**
Since MCT Oil is so versatile, you can use it to make salad dressings, sauces or anywhere in your cooking that could use a nutritional boost of beneficial essential fatty acids! MCT Oil has a low boiling point, and is not recommended for use in frying.
