Ketosis Test Strips
Suitable for People with Diabetes & Low-Carb Dieters
When your blood sugar levels increase for an extended period of time, your body breaks down fat for energy instead of glucose. The byproduct of this process is acetoacetic acid (ketones), which can be a sign of a serious medical condition. Piping Rock Ketosis Strips provide an easy and accurate way of determining the presence of ketones in the urine.
To test urine, remove one strip from the bottle and replace the cap immediately. Immerse the reagent area of the strip in the urine specimen and take it out quickly. Wipe off excess urine against the rim of the specimen container. Read the test results carefully within 60 seconds in a good light and with the test area held near the color chart on the bottle.
Replace the cap immediately and tightly after use. Do not touch the test areas. Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 86°F (30°C). For in-vitro use only.
Changes in color that appear only along the edges of the test pad, and color changes and readings that occur after 2 minutes are no longer accurate and have no diagnostic significance.
Once you have recorded your results, we recommend you consult with a trained health practitioner.
